Senior Software Engineer, Platform in USA

Responsibilities

  • Own platform and infrastructure work that shortens the path from an engineer’s commit to production.
  • Build and evolve build systems, CI/CD, and developer tooling used by the engineering team.
  • Improve observability and operational tooling so problems surface early and are inexpensive to diagnose.
  • Make and explain platform tradeoffs on behalf of the wider engineering organization.
  • Partner with product engineering teams to identify and resolve development bottlenecks.
  • Write production-quality code and automation across the stack.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Startup experience with ownership of a broad technical surface area during a growth stage.
  • Strong hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and build tooling.
  • Fluency in TypeScript, Python, or a similar modern programming language.
  • Experience operating production systems and reasoning about failure modes.
  • Strong computer science and coding fundamentals.

Salary: $180k - $240k/yr
