Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java microservices using Spring Boot.
  • Build and manage enterprise APIs using Apigee X.
  • Develop and support event-driven architecture using Confluent Kafka.
  • Collaborate with architects, product owners, and engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Develop secure, high-performing, and resilient applications.
  • Design, optimize, and maintain PostgreSQL databases.
  • Use GitHub for source control, code reviews, and CI/CD processes.
  • Integrate applications with Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, and Cloud APIs.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
  • Contribute to architecture design, performance tuning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Explore Python and Neo4j to enhance platform capabilities.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in Java application development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java microservices and Spring Boot.
  • Experience with Apigee X API Management and Confluent Kafka.
  • Knowledge of event-driven architecture and PostgreSQL databases.
  • Experience with GitHub and CI/CD practices.
  • Working knowledge of Python and experience with Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, and Cloud APIs.
  • Exposure to Neo4j is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
  • Willingness and ability to continue expanding expertise in cloud-native technologies, distributed systems, and modern software engineering practices.
  • Preferred certifications include Google Cloud, Oracle Java, Confluent Kafka, Spring Professional, and API Management certifications.
