Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Kubernetes Operators for the Camunda SaaS offering.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and field teams to define, ship, and iterate on features across cloud and multi-region deployments.
Improve existing codebases for security, stability, reliability, and quality.
Participate in on-call rotation and provide third-level escalation support.
Advocate for new ideas, knowledge sharing, automation, and a pragmatic engineering culture.

Requirements

Experience using Go or another relevant language for cloud-native software development.
Practical experience with at least one major cloud service provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and a deep understanding of its core concepts.
Ability or willingness to use the Camunda product.
Collaborative, autonomous, and pragmatic approach to programming and problem solving.
Experience writing and maintaining Kubernetes Operators is preferred.
Familiarity with multi-region or multi-cloud infrastructure and Crossplane is preferred.
