Responsibilities

  • Ship high-quality internal web applications that support company operations and provide strong user experiences.
  • Lead the architecture, design, and development of complex, maintainable, scalable, reliable, and performant frontend systems.
  • Translate stakeholder requirements into technical specifications and accessible, user-friendly implementations.
  • Build and evolve shared UI components, design-system patterns, accessibility standards, and consistent interaction and visual experiences.
  • Integrate frontend applications with backend services and identity systems such as SSO for authentication and authorization.
  • Apply frontend development standards, including code reviews, testing, documentation, and delivery workflows.
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
  • Own the operational readiness and support expectations of the team’s frontend applications and libraries.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and improve software development practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of software development experience focused on frontend web technologies.
  • Proficiency with modern JavaScript or TypeScript and a major frontend framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.
  • Strong HTML, CSS, responsive-design, and accessible-interface experience, including WCAG best practices.
  • Experience integrating APIs using REST, gRPC, or GraphQL and collaborating with backend engineers on contracts, performance, and reliability.
  • Experience with frontend unit, integration, and end-to-end testing practices and tooling.
  • Strong understanding of frontend architecture, design patterns, performance optimization, and best practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, problem-solving ability, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
