Responsibilities

Lead technical design and architecture for major documentation platform initiatives.
Author design documents, drive architectural decisions, and build consensus across engineering teams.
Define roadmaps for complex, multi-quarter projects spanning multiple teams.
Set direction for AI/LLM integrations in documentation platforms and authoring tools.
Establish engineering standards, best practices, and technical guidelines.
Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, performant full-stack services and systems.
Debug production issues, improve system reliability, and own system health and incident response.
Partner with engineering teams across the company to design integrated documentation solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.
At least four years of software engineering experience.
At least four years of full-stack experience focused on Ruby, Java, TypeScript, or Bazel.
At least four years of technical leadership on large projects, including roadmaps spanning more than six months and multiple teams.
At least two years authoring and reviewing technical design documents and driving complex architectural decisions while collaborating with junior colleagues.
At least two years building and scaling automated testing and validation frameworks.
At least two years designing and implementing persistent data models with MongoDB.
At least two years implementing emerging technical standards for AI/LLMs.

Benefits

Base salary range of $190,400–$285,600 per year.
Potential equity, company bonus, or sales commissions/bonuses in addition to base salary.
