Senior Software Engineer (Data Platform) in USA

Responsibilities

  • Own the reliability, resilience, observability, and on-call support of approximately 150 performance-data vendor integrations.
  • Maintain and improve C#/.NET integrations with vendor IoT APIs and independently investigate vendor-originated issues.
  • Lead architecture and implementation for migrating C#/.NET integrations to Python and writing data to the lakehouse.
  • Design and ship permanent fixes that improve the operational health of inherited systems.
  • Improve integration documentation and knowledge sharing across the team.
  • Strengthen the architecture and security posture of integrations for military IL4 and IL5 environments.
  • Communicate directly with third-party vendors when their APIs cause integration problems.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience with strong mastery of C# and .NET.
  • Experience designing and building highly scalable distributed architectures on AWS.
  • Fluency with Terraform.
  • Experience building or maintaining RESTful API integrations across multiple systems.
  • Working knowledge of vendor authentication protocols, especially OAuth 2.0 and the Authorization Code grant.
  • Ability to manage technical communication with third-party vendors and deliver permanent system fixes.
  • US citizenship and US-based residency.
  • Python expertise or willingness to develop strong Python skills is preferred.
  • Experience with IoT, wearable, or hardware-adjacent APIs is preferred.
  • Experience applying modern AI techniques across the software development lifecycle is preferred.
