Responsibilities

Build Roblox’s company-wide control plane using Kubernetes primitives and custom resources.
Develop systems, tools, APIs, Kubernetes controllers, and user experiences for deploying resources in a hybrid, multi-cluster Kubernetes environment.
Write and review high-quality code and tests, largely in Golang.
Support infrastructure tooling, observability, and instrumentation for internal engineering users.
Collaborate with the infrastructure organization and thousands of Roblox engineers.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience as a software engineer.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
Desire to work on critical, large-scale distributed systems.
Appreciation for observability, instrumentation, and tooling.

Benefits

Annual base salary range of $196,750–$243,290 USD for roles based at the San Mateo headquarters.
Full-time employees are eligible for equity compensation and benefits.
Office-based roles are onsite Tuesday through Thursday, with optional presence Monday and Friday unless otherwise noted.

Salary: $197k - $243k/yr
