Senior Software Engineer - Camera Platform in USA new

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end development of on-device camera platform features in C++ and Golang.
  • Translate product requirements into scalable, production-ready solutions for edge computing environments.
  • Collaborate with streaming, storage, AI, and product engineering teams.
  • Lead code reviews, guide debugging efforts, and uphold coding standards.
  • Drive and coordinate regular over-the-air releases while balancing delivery speed, stability, and reliability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional systems software development experience in performance- and resource-constrained environments.
  • Proficiency in C++ or Golang.
  • 2+ years of experience building software for Linux-based platforms.
  • Strong understanding of modern operating systems, computer architecture, and compute, memory, and storage trade-offs.
  • Familiarity with Bash scripting and Python for tooling and automation.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills and ability to collaborate across engineering and product teams.
  • Willingness and ability to work onsite five days per week.
  • Experience developing on-device software for cloud-connected devices is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Linux Kernel development is preferred.
