Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software components for an enterprise developer platform.
  • Build reusable backend tools and services that automate application, API, and software onboarding.
  • Develop self-service registration workflows with validation, approval, compliance, and security checks.
  • Create and integrate CI/CD pipelines and automated validation gates for software and API submissions.
  • Design REST APIs and work with OpenAPI specifications for documentation, validation, and onboarding.
  • Automate API gateway route registration, configuration, and policy management.
  • Consolidate application and software inventories into a centralized service catalog with standardized data models.
  • Create technical documentation, onboarding instructions, reusable templates, and developer productivity improvements.
  • Contribute to MVP design, implementation, testing, delivery, and future internal platform expansion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience developing and maintaining production applications or services.
  • Strong programming proficiency in at least one of Python, Go, TypeScript, or Java.
  • Hands-on experience designing, developing, and integrating REST APIs.
  • Working knowledge of OpenAPI specifications and API documentation standards.
  • Experience integrating source control systems with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience implementing automated validation, testing, or security checks in software delivery workflows.
  • Experience developing self-service workflows or automated processes with validation and approval steps.
  • Preferred experience with internal developer platforms, developer productivity tools, or software factories.
  • Preferred experience with GitLab CI/CD, Open Policy Agent, API gateway automation, centralized software catalogs, Kubernetes, containerized applications, GitOps, AWS, and cloud-native development.
  • Candidates must be U.S. citizens; project-assigned new hires must pass drug tests required by the client contract.

Salary: $210k - $250k/yr
