Responsibilities

Design, engineer, and build SRE platform systems and AI-powered capabilities used by engineering teams.
Participate in livesite monitoring rotations, handle escalations, drive mitigations, and conduct detailed postmortems.
Improve availability, scalability, performance, reliability, and operational best practices based on production learnings.
Drive architectural changes and ensure technical deliverables meet reliability, scalability, quality, and performance expectations.
Onboard teams by writing integrations, pairing with engineers, removing friction, and measuring adoption outcomes.
Ship early, gather user feedback, and iterate platform products based on user needs.
Drive task planning, estimation, scheduling, and staffing.
Influence engineering-wide process improvements and best practices.

Requirements

6+ years of experience architecting and engineering large-scale distributed commercial applications and services.
Experience building and maintaining complex internal platforms adopted by multiple teams in critical paths at a large company.
Demonstrated ability to drive adoption by writing integrations, removing friction, and measuring outcomes.
Experience building and maintaining complex AI-powered applications in production.
Proficiency in one or more object-oriented languages such as C#, C++, Go, or Python, with strong computer science fundamentals.
Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, multithreading, synchronization, asynchronous patterns, and cloud programming.
Experience with service-oriented and microservice-based architectures, HTTP applications, and web services development.
Familiarity with agile development, CI/CD, and DevOps, and ability to work with globally distributed teams.
Experience working with or managing production Kubernetes infrastructure is a plus.
Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP and managed services such as AKS or GKE is required.
Experience with database backends such as Azure SQL, CosmosDB, Azure Data Lake, Power BI, MongoDB, MySQL, or DynamoDB.
