Responsibilities

Design and develop reliable, modular, and secure software components.
Develop software on a RHEL operating system platform.
Build custom C++ applications, X Windows applications, and web-based middleware.
Develop applications and policies supporting security accreditations.
Design, build, and maintain large-scale production systems.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with five or more years of experience, master’s degree with three or more years of experience, or PhD with zero years of related experience.
High-level experience with JavaScript, React, Linux/RHEL, and web technologies.
Experience with JavaScript, React, CSS3, HTML5, and third-party libraries such as React.js, Angular, jQuery, and LESS.
Experience with Nginx or Apache servers and a strong Linux background.
Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, and MySQL.
Basic UI/UX and prototype design ability.
Strong understanding of low-level operating-system concepts, including multithreading, memory management, networking, storage, performance, and scale.
Ability to visualize and build proposed systems.
U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance required to start; ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance after starting.
C++ experience and strong computer-science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems are desired.

Benefits

Expected travel of up to 10% throughout the year.
