Responsibilities

Build large-scale, fault-tolerant distributed software systems that can scale indefinitely.
Design and develop Disaster Recovery as a Service solutions for on-premises and major cloud platforms.
Implement Scala/Java data-management jobs for backup and recovery of virtual machines in virtualized enterprise infrastructure.
Design and implement admin-facing UIs and APIs integrating with third-party and customer applications.
Conduct code reviews focused on interface design, code quality, and testing strategies.
Solve scalability and stability problems affecting high-scale products and analyze and prioritize defects.
Respond to critical issues in SaaS product offerings and resolve build and test infrastructure problems.
Create robust monitoring, metrics, and automation solutions.
Partner with product teams to understand customer requirements and ensure effective feature delivery.
Lead projects and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience building large-scale distributed systems.
Deep understanding of distributed and cloud architecture, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent.
Strong code review and testing practices.
Proven experience with data structures, software design, and systems analysis.
Preferred: proficiency in one or more of Go, Scala, and Python.
Preferred: experience with Bazel, Git, and GitHub.
Preferred: experience establishing or maintaining automated build systems.

Benefits

Eligible for bonus potential, equity, and benefits.
U.S. base salary range of $158,000–$237,000.

Salary: $158k - $237k/yr
