Senior Software Engineer in USA

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the full engineering lifecycle from concept through implementation.
  • Own the quality and availability of mission systems.
  • Improve the application’s architecture, infrastructure, and engineering processes.
  • Design and develop scalable backend services and frontend applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate complex customer requirements into user-facing features.
  • Build and maintain systems that provide rapid access to geospatial datasets.

Requirements

  • 6–8 years of industry experience.
  • Fluency in Golang, Python, and PostgreSQL or related technologies.
  • Experience developing full-stack applications across databases, services, and web applications.
  • Experience building frontend applications with React.
  • Experience maintaining infrastructure-as-code.
  • Experience with logging, alerting, and monitoring tools that support system quality.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to customer needs.
  • Experience with AWS, GCP, and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Experience building systems with many integrations.
  • Experience with geospatial technologies and data.
  • Ability to access applicable export-controlled information without additional export licensing, as required by EAR/ITAR restrictions.
