Responsibilities

Develop and maintain FICC Pricing Applications using Java and related backend technologies.
Own and improve CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools while identifying automation and transformation opportunities.
Implement new requirements and fix bugs or defects according to established standards and best practices.
Gather requirements, develop user stories, plan delivery schedules, and collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, business analysts, technical leads, and testing teams.
Improve platform performance and production stability and monitor applications using relevant observability tools.
Review solutions, identify potential issues, recommend problem-solving strategies, and support project delivery.
Research technology, business processes, and strategy to support delivery for business stakeholders.

Requirements

More than 10 years of IT experience in Java development, including individual-contributor work and mentoring.
Experience with Agile projects and fast-paced collaborative environments.
Experience with Vertex, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, Elasticsearch, and ELK.
Experience with Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus, JMS, IBM MQ, Artemis, or Solace.
Hands-on experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and cybersecurity tools including TeamCity, Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence, NexusIQ, or Checkmarx.
Hands-on experience with relational or NoSQL databases such as Oracle or MongoDB.
Familiarity with unit, regression, and end-to-end testing and source-control tools such as Git and Subversion.
In-depth knowledge of trade lifecycle and straight-through processing.
Preferred qualifications include exposure to fixed-income cash and derivative products, regulatory reporting guidelines, and high-frequency or low-latency coding.
Rust, Go, and Python experience is listed as desirable.
Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, presentation, analytical, self-motivation, enthusiasm, and rapid-learning skills.
