Responsibilities

Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to define requirements and drive product development from conception through launch.
Lead the planning, scoping, prioritization, and execution of projects within the Product Manager, Designer, and Engineering Lead triad.
Contribute across implementation, delivery, technical project and product management, and production support.
Develop clean, efficient, maintainable, and scalable production code for core services.
Work cross-functionally with engineering teams to deliver features and enhancements.
Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers.
Lead and participate in stand-ups, grooming sessions, retrospectives, and other team meetings.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality.
Improve code quality through testing and debugging.
Add agentic capabilities to the hiring pipeline.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience contributing production code.
Experience leading or owning projects and driving them to completion.
Experience with Ruby, C#, Java, or Python, with Ruby preferred.
Direct experience with AI and agentic software development, including tools such as Claude Code and Codex.
Strong JavaScript or TypeScript fundamentals, including React.
Full-stack development experience.
Strong understanding of architectural patterns.
REST and web development experience.
Experience partnering closely with Product and Design teams.
Rails experience preferred.
Deep experience with integrations is a plus.
