Senior Software Engineer - Applied Data in USA new

Responsibilities

  • Design and build petabyte-scale distributed systems for data ingestion, transformation, and serving.
  • Support feature engineering workflows by connecting offline data to serving systems.
  • Evolve feature infrastructure and feature store systems for scalability, discoverability, and consistency.
  • Collaborate on identity graph construction to unify user and device identifiers.
  • Improve observability, resilience, performance, throughput, and latency of data systems.
  • Mentor engineers and help define data and backend engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate with Product, ML, and Data Science teams on impactful projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent technical field.
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience using one or more modern programming languages.
  • Experience designing and building large-scale distributed systems and backend services.
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Beam, Dataflow, Spark, or similar data processing frameworks and Airflow or similar orchestration tools.
  • Strong understanding of GCP, AWS, or Azure and data storage technologies including BigQuery, Bigtable, Redis, GCS, Kafka, and Pub/Sub.
  • Preferred experience with feature infrastructure or feature store architecture and operations.
  • Preferred experience designing and constructing identity graphs.
  • Preferred familiarity with AdTech or machine learning infrastructure.
  • Preferred experience with petabyte-scale data and high-availability systems.
