Responsibilities

Design and develop high-throughput, low-latency applications and APIs for fraud, scam, and digital intrusion alerts.
Build and maintain batch and continuous data flows using Ab Initio and related data engineering and ETL technologies.
Perform coding, software design, debugging, testing, and technical problem solving.
Mentor team members and provide technical assistance while promoting engineering best practices.
Estimate development effort for new features.
Lead Level 3 or above support and technical troubleshooting activities.
Develop CI/CD pipelines and deploy software solutions in cloud-hosted environments.

Requirements

Hands-on experience with data engineering and ETL principles and practices.
Experience with Unix/Linux, SQL, Ab Initio, and other data integration tools or frameworks.
Demonstrated programming experience with Ab Initio GDE and related products and shell scripting.
Experience with relational database concepts, Oracle, SQL, stored procedures, and packages.
Experience developing real-time applications using messaging queues, REST APIs, TCP, or Kafka.
Experience developing and deploying high-quality software with comprehensive test coverage.
Ability to mentor colleagues, estimate development effort, and lead Level 3 support and troubleshooting.
Experience creating pipelines in Jenkins, TeamCity, Ab Initio EME, or GitHub Actions.
Exposure to Agile and DevOps environments and CI/CD concepts.
Python or Java experience is preferred.
AWS cloud hosting knowledge is preferred.
