Senior Software Development Engineer in Others

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with AMD architecture specialists to improve future products.
  • Use data-driven analysis to identify and prioritize optimization opportunities.
  • Design and develop new AMD technologies.
  • Participate in ASIC and hardware bring-up activities.
  • Debug and fix existing issues while researching more efficient solutions.
  • Track software and hardware trends related to algorithms and architecture.
  • Build technical relationships with peers and partners.
  • Drive complex technical issues to resolution and provide technical leadership.

Requirements

  • Strong object-oriented programming background, preferably in C/C++.
  • Experience with modern concurrent programming and threading APIs.
  • Experience developing for Windows, Linux, and/or Android.
  • Ability to write high-quality code with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with debuggers, source code control systems such as GitHub, and profilers is preferred.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
