Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of scalable, maintainable, and performant software systems.
  • Own technical solutions and hands-on delivery from development through production.
  • Act as a point of escalation for the development team during and outside office hours.
  • Apply governance to solution design and code quality and ensure solutions meet business needs.
  • Manage work estimation and produce solution documentation.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of system architecture, technical structure, and domain context.
  • Guide a small team of developers in designing and developing solutions.
  • Mentor team members and promote knowledge sharing through pairing, code reviews, and related activities.

Requirements

  • Expert knowledge of Kafka, SQL, .NET, Golang, or React.
  • Proven experience building highly scalable systems, preferably in the cloud, with GCP valued.
  • Proficiency developing customer-centric front-end solutions.
  • Exposure to NoSQL datastores.
  • Leadership experience within development teams and technical project delivery.
  • Capability in technical leadership, mentorship, pairing, and code reviews.
  • Strong technical documentation skills.
  • Deep understanding of large-scale, highly available, multiuser, service-based systems.
  • Familiarity with on-call rotations and incident response.
