Responsibilities

Own mission autonomy systems and services deployed to customers.
Write software to improve products and scale mission capabilities to additional customers.
Collaborate across teams to plan, build, and test complex functionality.
Create and analyze metrics for debugging and monitoring.
Triage issues, identify root causes, and coordinate next steps.
Partner with end-users to translate needs into features while balancing user experience and engineering constraints.
Travel up to 25% of the time to build, test, and deploy capabilities in real-world environments.

Requirements

7+ years of professional industry experience working with C++ or Rust.
Strong engineering background from industry or school, ideally in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
Experience building software solutions involving significant data processing and analysis.
Ability to understand and navigate complex systems and established codebases quickly.
Willingness to work on critical software with real-world impact.
Willingness to travel up to 25% for testing and demonstrations.
Active Secret Clearance required.
Preferred: background in Physics, Mathematics, or Motion Planning for modeling and simulation and physical systems.
Preferred: experience developing and testing multi-agent autonomous systems and deploying them in real-world environments.
Preferred: experience with feature and algorithm development and behavior trees.
Preferred: experience developing software or hardware for flight systems and safety-critical functionality.
