Responsibilities

  • Design and execute risk-based testing across native iOS and Android applications, APIs, and integrated customer journeys.
  • Own, maintain, and improve the mobile test automation framework and reusable automated tests.
  • Integrate automated testing and quality controls into CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
  • Lead functional, integration, regression, accessibility, and production verification testing.
  • Identify quality risks, provide release-readiness recommendations, and lead defect triage and severity assessment.
  • Coach engineers and promote quality engineering practices across the Mobile Banking Squad.
  • Support production releases, incident investigations, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain test environments, devices, test data, and automation assets.

Requirements

  • Experience in software testing or quality engineering for native iOS and Android applications, APIs, and integrated services.
  • Proven experience designing, maintaining, and improving reusable mobile automation frameworks.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
  • Experience with risk-based testing, defect management, release assurance, and production verification.
  • Experience with API and web automation tools such as Postman, REST Assured, Selenium, or Playwright.
  • Experience using modern AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot or equivalent.
  • Understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, agentic workflows, evaluation, and responsible AI.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience guiding quality engineers and working within Agile delivery teams.
  • Financial services and mobile banking experience is highly regarded.
