Responsibilities

Architect AI-native security workflows using agents, deterministic automation, and human decision points with safe failure modes.
Design and govern agentic AI systems with permissions, guardrails, least-privilege identity, and controls against prompt injection, tool abuse, and data exfiltration.
Partner with security, engineering, and business stakeholders to consolidate processes into scalable, measurable enterprise solutions.
Integrate AI-driven workflows with security platforms, systems of record, identity services, and enterprise applications through APIs, event streams, and Model Context Protocol.
Establish reusable architectures, agent patterns, and evaluation frameworks optimized for cost, latency, reliability, and security.
Lead large-scale technical initiatives and influence senior stakeholders across complex, matrixed enterprise organizations.

Requirements

12+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in software engineering, security engineering, cybersecurity architecture, platform architecture, or a related technical field.
Proven experience designing and deploying AI, generative AI, or agentic AI solutions within security domains.
Deep expertise in agentic AI architecture, context management, guardrails, least-privilege agent identity, evaluation frameworks, and production optimization.
Strong software engineering and distributed systems background, including APIs, event-driven architectures, cloud platforms, system integrations, and observability.
Experience with modern programming languages such as Python, TypeScript, or Go.
Experience applying AI and agentic systems to application security, vulnerability management, DevSecOps, threat modeling, or secure software development is desired.
Experience building MCP servers or agent tools and familiarity with LLMOps and secure-by-design frameworks such as OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications are desired.

Benefits

The base salary range is $185,600-$255,200 per year.
Relocation assistance is available.
The position is located in Round Rock, Texas.
