Responsibilities

Collaborate as an individual contributor through code reviews, mentorship, technical direction, and support for feature teams.
Design, implement, test, and manage reusable infrastructure-as-code modules with Terraform.
Deploy, configure, maintain, monitor, and optimize Kubernetes clusters using GKE and EKS.
Develop and maintain internal CI/CD systems and automate build and release processes with tools such as Argo CD and Atlantis.
Diagnose and resolve platform performance, scalability, reliability, and security issues using logs and metrics.
Drive automation for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, monitoring, and operational workflows.
Partner with development teams to translate infrastructure and developer-experience needs into platform features and roadmaps.
Build internal platform tools, APIs, and services that improve self-service and developer productivity.
Implement cloud security, access control, vulnerability management, encryption, compliance practices, security audits, and penetration testing.

Requirements

6+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps engineering, or related roles.
Strong software engineering fundamentals and hands-on coding experience in Go, TypeScript, or other relevant languages.
Hands-on experience with GCP, AWS, Kubernetes, GKE, EKS, and Terraform.
Proven experience building and maintaining scalable, reliable, secure cloud infrastructure with an emphasis on automation and efficiency.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Argo CD, Atlantis, or similar technologies.
Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
Extensive experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
Knowledge of cloud security best practices and prior experience with platform engineering projects.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team.
