Senior Platform Engineer in Others

Responsibilities

  • Integrate AI products that process and move substantial data across external sources and systems in real time.
  • Route streaming responses and language-model requests across providers with fallback and cost controls.
  • Monitor latency, costs, and error rates and proactively prevent production degradation.
  • Improve platform reliability and performance under production load while maintaining simple, maintainable architecture.
  • Build observability and instrumentation to identify issues and support root-cause analysis.
  • Contribute to frontend code when needed.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of backend engineering experience, including 3 years of production TypeScript experience.
  • Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong system design skills, including performance, latency, and cost trade-off analysis.
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL, APIs, queues, and caching.
  • Experience improving platform reliability and performance and using instrumentation and observability to debug production systems.
  • Experience with streaming responses or routing language-model requests across providers with fallback and cost logic is useful.

Benefits

  • €60,000 to €90,000 annual salary.
  • Hybrid work arrangement in Munich, Germany.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available.
