Responsibilities

Build highly reliable data services that integrate with dozens of blockchains.
Develop real-time ETL pipelines processing petabytes of structured and unstructured data.
Design and architect data models optimized for storage, retrieval, and sub-second blockchain queries.
Deploy, monitor, and optimize large database clusters for performance and high availability.
Collaborate with data scientists, backend engineers, and product managers on data models and product capabilities.
Build self-service automation for scaling and maintaining database clusters and related infrastructure.
Identify minimum viable first versions and accelerate deployment timelines through iterative delivery.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
5+ years of hands-on experience architecting distributed systems and guiding projects from ideation through production deployment.
Exceptional Python programming skills and proficiency in SQL or SparkSQL.
Experience with data stores and engines such as Iceberg, Trino, BigQuery, StarRocks, and Citus.
Experience with data pipeline and workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow and DBT.
Expertise with data processing and streaming technologies including Spark, Kafka, and Flink.
Experience deploying and monitoring infrastructure using Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Datadog.
Ability to load, query, and transform extensive datasets.
