Responsibilities

Lead development of React Native mobile applications across iOS and Android.
Design and implement UX workflows for clinical trial participants and at-home diagnostic patients.
Own application user experience, performance, reliability, and observability using feedback from real users.
Integrate capabilities from native iOS and Android BLE device SDKs.
Partner with Devices, Platform, and Product Design teams to build integrated mobile capabilities.
Shape the roadmap and technical direction of the mobile platform.
Build EEG signal-quality validation, patient onboarding, compliance-tracking, performance, release-reliability, and crash-visibility features.

Requirements

8+ years of mobile development experience, including substantial experience shipping and maintaining production React Native apps on both iOS and Android.
Strong TypeScript skills and familiarity with React Native, Expo, and GitHub.
Experience with app state management, offline-first data handling, and app store release processes.
Strong product mindset with attention to UX, edge cases, and performance.
Strong communication skills and comfort working in a collaborative asynchronous environment.
Experience integrating BLE peripheral devices, sensor integration, or health-data streams is preferred.
Experience writing native Swift or Kotlin code or building native React Native modules is preferred.
Experience with medical devices, EEG, wearables, clinical trials, patients, regulated environments, or open-source mobile projects is preferred.

In-person office hubs are available in Boston and New York.
Total compensation includes equity, PTO, and other benefits.

Salary: $150k - $190k/yr
