Responsibilities

Lead the transition and takeover of QA activities, documentation, and test cases from an existing vendor team.
Design, maintain, and execute manual test plans, test scenarios, regression suites, and reusable test datasets for Flutter applications.
Perform functional, regression, exploratory, usability, cross-platform, cross-browser, multi-device, and end-to-end testing across iOS, Android, and web.
Identify test coverage gaps and implement risk- and business-priority-based improvements.
Test on physical devices, emulators, simulators, and multiple web browsers.
Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using issue-tracking tools.
Provide detailed bug reports with reproduction steps, logs, screenshots, and relevant technical information.
Collaborate with developers and UX designers to clarify requirements, define acceptance criteria, and validate functionality.
Support release validation and identify critical defects before production deployment.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and align testing activities with development timelines and quality standards.

Requirements

4+ years of professional software quality assurance experience focused primarily on mobile and web applications.
Hands-on manual testing experience with Flutter applications across iOS, Android, and web.
Strong understanding of Flutter behaviors, widget states, layouts, and platform differences.
Experience designing and executing test cases, test plans, and regression testing suites.
Strong experience with functional, exploratory, usability, and cross-platform testing.
Experience testing applications on physical iOS and Android devices, emulators, simulators, and multiple browsers.
Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman, Bruno, or curl.
Experience with Android Studio, Xcode, or Flutter DevTools for mobile debugging.
Familiarity with browser developer tools and debugging consoles.
Experience managing defects with Jira, Buganizer, or similar platforms.
Experience owning QA activities in existing, legacy, or vendor-transition projects.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum, SDLC, STLC, and shift-left testing practices.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, technical communication, and documentation skills.
Knowledge of accessibility testing standards, internationalization testing, Dart, QA process improvement, risk-based testing, and release quality metrics is preferred.
Availability to work 100% onsite in Guadalajara, Mexico, five days per week.
