Responsibilities

  • Design and develop Java-based applications and microservices.
  • Build scalable, high-performance solutions for transaction systems.
  • Collaborate in planning, estimation, design sessions, and other Agile ceremonies.
  • Partner with product and project teams to provide technical estimates and status updates.
  • Troubleshoot complex production and system issues.
  • Drive development tasks independently with minimal supervision.
  • Work with distributed teams across multiple time zones.
  • Report critical issues clearly and proactively.
  • Support system architecture and perform hands-on development.
  • Conduct peer code reviews and mentor junior developers.
  • Ensure adherence to security standards and best practices.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of software development experience.
  • Strong expertise in Java, J2EE, JDBC, Spring, and Spring Boot.
  • Experience with web services, microservices architecture, Struts, Spring MVC, and ESB technologies such as Camel and Fuse.
  • Experience with OAuth2, SAML, and OpenID authentication protocols.
  • Experience developing front-end components with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and modern frameworks.
  • Experience with Git, SVN, Maven, Bamboo, and Jenkins.
  • Ability to write optimized Oracle SQL queries.
  • Knowledge of system design, architecture, and security best practices.
  • Ability to solve complex technical problems, learn new technologies, collaborate with distributed teams, and manage priorities independently.
  • At least 3+ years of U.S.-based experience and 10+ years of overall industry experience.
  • Azure configuration experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Hibernate, Spring Batch, Kafka, Airflow, or similar data-processing tools is preferred.
  • Healthcare, Medicaid, claims, or insurance-platform experience is preferred.
