Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer in USA new

Responsibilities

  • Build and ship high-impact tools and capabilities for game developers across APIs, the Discord app, developer portal, realtime infrastructure, and C++ SDKs.
  • Write, review, and maintain elegant, scalable, high-quality code used by millions of people.
  • Lead projects through requirements gathering, milestone planning, implementation, and launch.
  • Work with game developer partners, Solutions Engineers, and Developer Relations to understand needs and answer questions.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and partner managers to resolve ambiguity and deliver effective solutions.
  • Maintain performance and reliability standards while continually raising software quality.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Experience with Python and TypeScript/React, or with Elixir, Rust, or C++, with the ability to switch across stacks or learn new technologies.
  • Experience building software that leverages large-data applications.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and partner teams and apply a holistic, first-principles approach to problem solving.
  • Experience with scale, mobile development, cloud platforms such as GCP, Amazon, or Azure, or game development is a bonus.
  • Active use of AI coding tools to improve productivity.
