Responsibilities

Design, build, and iterate on software solutions from prototypes through production systems.
Collaborate with architects, designers, product partners, and engineers to explore ideas and technical approaches.
Work across varied technologies, languages, frameworks, applications, services, and platforms.
Evaluate and apply emerging technologies, including AI/ML and generative AI, where they create real value.
Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and help establish engineering practices.
Support architectural decisions and provide technical guidance to less senior engineers.
Contribute to technical discovery, experimentation, rapid learning, and other related duties.

Requirements

Strong general software engineering experience across different technology stacks.
Experience designing and building modern applications, services, or platforms.
Experience developing or integrating generative AI applications.
Familiarity with cloud-based systems and modern development workflows.
Ability to work effectively in ambiguous problem spaces and learn new technologies quickly.
Strong collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional environments.
Pragmatic judgment about when to prototype quickly versus engineer for scale.
Grounding in security, privacy, and accessibility principles, particularly for sensitive or regulated data.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; certain roles may require U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal background investigation and/or security clearance.
