Senior Frontend/Fullstack Software Engineer in USA

Responsibilities

  • Build and ship frontend-leaning features across the full stack for Roblox’s social graph and Connections products.
  • Develop critical user-facing features used by tens of millions of users and create new zero-to-one experiences.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to define and build platform features.
  • Drive projects from planning through execution, including experiments and measurement of meaningful impact.
  • Support company objectives related to user engagement and retention through friending and social connections.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience building full-stack systems, including backend services, APIs, and frontend applications.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Ability to write and ship user-facing features in a product-focused environment.
  • Proactive, adaptable, scrappy, and user-focused approach to product ownership.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing is a bonus.

  • The role is based onsite at Roblox HQ in San Mateo, California, with required office presence Tuesday through Thursday and optional presence Monday and Friday.

Salary: $197k - $243k/yr
