Responsibilities

Develop resilient frontend approaches using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, the DOM, and browser networking to reduce ad disruptions.
Integrate solutions into shared ad rendering infrastructure, frontend architecture, and build systems with Ads and Web Platform teams.
Design controlled experiments and phased rollouts while protecting site performance, accessibility, and user experience.
Build instrumentation and monitoring to measure mitigation effectiveness, detect regressions, and guide iteration.
Implement ad rendering, event collection, click handling, and browser extensions across multiple ad formats.
Improve web advertising reliability, performance, measurement, and foundational infrastructure.
Raise engineering quality through technical design, testing, code reviews, documentation, and mentorship.

Requirements

5+ years of experience building production web applications with JavaScript, TypeScript, and/or React.
Experience using Codex, Cursor, Claude, or comparable agentic coding tools in day-to-day software development.
Track record of independently delivering complex frontend projects from technical design through launch and iteration.
Strong frontend architecture, state management, component design, testing, and API integration skills.
Experience building polished user interfaces with attention to usability, performance, accessibility, and maintainability.
Ability to navigate ambiguous product and technical problems and collaborate across engineering, product, design, and data disciplines.
Experience with instrumentation, experimentation, or product metrics to improve user experiences.
Experience with code reviews, documentation, and technical mentorship.
Bonus: experience working with video ads, display ads, or other advertising formats.

Base salary range of $190,800-$267,100 USD; the role may also include equity and, depending on the position, commission.
