Responsibilities

Develop frontend experiences for Verkada’s cloud-managed access control product.
Drive less-than-fully-defined product ideas through completion.
Build best-in-class products and polished user experiences rather than isolated features.
Collaborate with firmware, backend, and frontend engineers on the Access Control product line.
Take technical ownership of major systems and solve complex problems.

Requirements

7+ years of industry software engineering experience.
Mastery of JavaScript, including scoping, closures, contexts, prototypes, and classes.
Expertise using React.
Strong architectural understanding of custom components, custom UI, and cross-browser support.
Strong eye for design, product details, and polish.
Understanding of HTTP and practical debugging techniques.
Working knowledge of at least one server-side framework and one database system.
Degree in Computer Science or a related Engineering field.
Willingness and ability to work onsite five days per week.
