Senior Founding AI Engineer in USA

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement end-to-end AI systems covering data pipelines, modeling, and inference.
  • Prototype, deploy, and iterate computer vision, LLM, and multimodal AI systems using user feedback and production data.
  • Launch production-grade AI solutions for heterogeneous construction documents and real-world noisy inputs.
  • Collaborate with product and users to identify high-impact problems and deliver practical AI solutions.
  • Perform hands-on engineering tasks including data labeling, ETL, and deployment.
  • Communicate progress and technical tradeoffs clearly with the team.

Requirements

  • Hands-on applied computer vision and machine learning experience, including model development and production deployment.
  • Proven track record launching AI systems or core components of a new product from 0 to 1.
  • Strong familiarity with computer vision, LLM, and multimodal approaches and tooling.
  • Experience shipping initial AI prototypes and building end-to-end intelligence-layer systems in production.
  • Ability to iterate quickly using user feedback and real data.
  • Experience with multimodal data such as images, text, and documents is desirable.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and practical engineering skills.
  • Must be located in or willing to relocate to the Bay Area and have US work authorization.

Benefits

  • Annual salary range of $120,000 to $180,000 USD.
  • On-site work in San Francisco, United States.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available at this time.
