Responsibilities

Develop reliable C++ flight software controlling spacecraft, satellite buses, and reentry capsules throughout the mission.
Write structured bare-metal, RTOS-based, or Linux-based software for embedded processors.
Own software design, development, testing, verification, validation, and integration.
Scope projects, capture requirements, and perform initial design trades for open-ended problems.
Support software quality and performance through testing, verification, and validation techniques.
Collaborate with teammates to communicate and solve problems.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, math, physics, engineering, or equivalent technical experience in safety-critical software.
At least 5 years of experience developing spacecraft or similar safety-critical software.
Strong C++ development experience and understanding of C++ language concepts.
Preferred: end-to-end experience building and launching a spacecraft.
Preferred: experience developing and testing real-time embedded systems and safety-critical aerospace software.
Preferred: experience with CCSDS telemetry and telecommand systems, F' or cFS, Python or Rust, basic analog and digital electronics, and SPI, I2C, CAN, or EtherCAT.
