Responsibilities

Define application security policies for Hivemind software.
Deploy and configure security scanning tools within CI/CD pipelines.
Review scanning results and work with developers to identify and remediate security issues.
Partner with architecture teams on secure-by-default software design.
Perform threat modeling and validate designs against secure coding standards.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with approximately 5+ years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with approximately 4+ years, in cybersecurity, software engineering, or a closely related technical field.
Experience developing or testing secure code.
Understanding of software engineering practices, including automated testing, configuration management, and software lifecycle processes.
Familiarity with threat modeling and software analysis tools such as static analysis, dynamic analysis, dependency mapping, and CVE scanning.
Comfort working in a Linux development environment.
Basic understanding of cryptography concepts and strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred experience includes application security for complex software products, DevSecOps in GitLab, Python, C, C++, or Go programming/testing, red-teaming, and software reverse engineering.
