Senior Embedded Software Engineer in USA

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop low-level and middleware platform software for powertrain and high-voltage electronic control units.
  • Lead development of reliable, safety- and performance-critical electric vehicle software components.
  • Support design, development, debugging, and integration of individual functions into control units.
  • Conduct design and code reviews to optimize platform software.
  • Develop design and product validation test programs to ensure software durability and robustness.
  • Use scripting tools and methods to optimize software development and testing activities.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience.
  • Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages, with embedded C development experience for resource-constrained environments preferred.
  • Extensive experience with Real-Time Operating Systems and their architectures.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and data sheets.
  • Hands-on experience with on-chip debugging tools and troubleshooting software and hardware issues.
  • Experience with board bring-up processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field required.
  • Master’s degree or higher in a related technical field preferred.

Salary: $158k - $218k/yr
