Responsibilities

  • Shape the DevOps culture and bridge development teams with platform engineering.
  • Implement innovative infrastructure and deployment solutions in a multi-cloud environment.
  • Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and related configuration management tools.
  • Operate containerized workloads and orchestration platforms while applying security practices.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, release processes, source control workflows, and repository governance.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and application-layer issues in production.
  • Automate operational tasks with Bash, Python, or Go.
  • Drive technical decisions across departments and provide technical updates to stakeholders and clients.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps and cloud infrastructure roles.
  • Expert-level production experience with AWS and the ability to contribute in GCP or Azure environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of system architecture, cross-system integrations, and Terraform-based infrastructure provisioning.
  • Working knowledge of CloudFormation and Ansible.
  • Deep expertise in container orchestration with EKS, ECS, GKE, and AKS, plus advanced containerization concepts.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Docker, Docker Compose, optimization, and container security practices.
  • Expert understanding of networking architecture, including VPC design, routing, and security best practices.
  • Advanced proficiency in CI/CD and release engineering using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or cloud-native tools.
  • Knowledge of source control management best practices and repository governance using GitHub or equivalent tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, deployments, and application layers.
  • Experience implementing scalable, reliable, secure, cost-effective, and maintainable cloud hosting infrastructure.
  • Experience with automation and scripting using Bash, Python, or Go.
  • Excellent communication skills for stakeholder and client discussions.
  • AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, or Terraform certifications are nice to have.
