Responsibilities

  • Design and implement software solutions that address complex business problems for clients.
  • Write clean, reusable, iterative, and well-tested code using sound engineering practices.
  • Build large-scale distributed systems from microservices.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Quality Analysts, Designers, Project Managers, and other teammates to develop features and interactive prototypes.
  • Advocate continuous delivery, DevSecOps, and security practices throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
  • Participate in the full software consulting and delivery cycle from ideation through deployment.
  • Assess team health, code quality, and nonfunctional requirements.
  • Mentor less-experienced peers and help cultivate collaborative technical teams.

Requirements

  • Experience with one or more of Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, TypeScript, Ruby, or C#.
  • Strong object-oriented programming skills and the ability to write high-quality, well-tested code.
  • Comfort with Agile methodologies such as Extreme Programming, Scrum, or Kanban.
  • Awareness of test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery approaches or tools.
  • Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, or Docker is a bonus.
  • Ability to influence others, advocate for technical excellence, adapt to change, and work through ambiguity.
  • Engagement with the external technology community through speaking, open source, blogging, or similar contributions.
