Responsibilities

Collaborate with product, design, and engineering partners to execute product and business strategy and build new features for moderators.
Contribute to technical design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and product launches.
Review code, design documents, product specifications, and mocks and provide constructive feedback.
Lead a team of engineers and define standards and best practices that improve developer workflows.
Coach and mentor engineers to support their professional development.
Drive technical and product strategy, operations, architecture, and execution for Safety and Moderation initiatives.

Requirements

5–8 years of software development experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages, including Go, Python, Rust, or Ruby.
Experience with GraphQL, REST, HTTP, Thrift, or gRPC basics and designing and implementing maintainable APIs.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and keep projects on schedule.
Ability to work independently, innovate, act decisively, and thrive in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
Experience partnering effectively with cross-functional teams in a fully remote environment and communicating complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences.
