Responsibilities

Design, test, deploy, and maintain software products and features on the Android SDK.
Build reusable Android software components for interfacing with backend platforms.
Analyze and optimize user interface and infrastructure application code for quality, efficiency, and performance.
Support and authorize third-party application access to share product features.
Collaborate with product designers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to build Android application experiences.
Conduct mobile system design and code reviews and maintain high standards for code quality and documentation.
Establish architectural principles, select design patterns, and guide team members in their application.
Mentor junior-level team members.

Requirements

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field plus two years of related work experience, or a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in one of those fields plus five years of progressive post-bachelor’s related experience.
At least two years of experience designing and implementing Android OS application features using Java, Kotlin, HTTP API, or RESTful API.
At least two years of experience building maintainable and testable codebases, including API design and unit testing.
At least two years of experience with multithreading programming and mobile memory management.
At least two years of experience providing peer review and feedback on programmed code.

Benefits

Full-time position at 40 hours per week.
Work location is San Jose, California.

Salary: $256k - $388k/yr
