Responsibilities

Design, build, and ship Android features in a large production application.
Contribute to Android infrastructure to keep delivery fast and reliable.
Review code, provide feedback, and write technical documentation to improve coding practices and code quality.
Lead development initiatives involving new technologies, existing practices, or architecture.
Participate with peers and stakeholders in technology, design, and product direction decisions.
Triage product and application issues and respond quickly to customer problems.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience developing high-quality Android applications.
Strong understanding of the full application development lifecycle and Android SDK components, lifecycle behavior, performance, permissions, data persistence, and Gradle builds and modules.
Proficiency in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose for building user interfaces.
Experience with concurrency practices and coroutines.
Ability to make architectural decisions based on data and requirements, with working knowledge of MVVM and multi-tier architecture.
Preferred: bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
Preferred: experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and publishing to the Play Store.
Preferred: strong data structures and algorithms foundation focused on testable, scalable, and maintainable code.
Preferred: experience using AI/LLM tools in daily development while maintaining quality, review standards, and security.
Preferred: experience with Dagger/Hilt, OkHttp/Retrofit, Espresso/kakao, and automated unit, integration, and UI test suites.
Familiarity with mobile accessibility, OAuth, mobile app authentication, data safety, Material Design, mobile UX, and mobile design patterns.
