Responsibilities

  • Own service governance and service management for assigned cyber security capabilities.
  • Deploy and drive adoption of cyber security capabilities across IT infrastructure, hybrid cloud, applications, OT, and IoT environments.
  • Define capability requirements, identify gaps, and support security technology roadmaps with Security Architecture.
  • Support proof-of-concept implementation, testing, analysis, reporting, and business-case development.
  • Manage the demand funnel and drive continuous improvement through sprint cycles.
  • Collaborate with business owners, suppliers, strategic partners, SOC teams, and threat intelligence teams to optimize security services.
  • Hold technology suppliers and managed security service providers accountable for delivery and outcomes.
  • Raise and resolve supplier incidents and issues while ensuring compliance with organizational policies, standards, and service-management frameworks.
  • Identify cyber risks and provide technology-based solutions while maintaining awareness of evolving threats and technology trends.

Requirements

  • 4 to 8 years of experience in email security, XDR, Microsoft Defender-related services, or security operations.
  • Strong technical background in IT, IoT, and OT, with experience managing cloud, on-premise, OT, and/or IoT environments.
  • Experience deploying service-management models such as ITIL, COBIT, or CMMI.
  • Experience in security engineering or IT platforms, including developing, deploying, and maintaining security solutions.
  • Working knowledge of SIEM, SOAR, CSPM, NDR, EDR/XDR, IDP, DAM, NAC, WAF, TVM, email security, threat intelligence platforms, security validation platforms, and penetration-testing platforms.
  • Experience with security governance, risk, and compliance standards and requirements.
  • Knowledge of public cloud environments, network and system security, cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices.
  • Understanding of security principles, frameworks, and technologies, including ISO 27001, NIST, MITRE, and CIS.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, stakeholder-management, analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, prioritization, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to lead and deliver through others and work independently with international teams.
  • Skills in programme and project management and the ability to provide strategic and operational business awareness.
  • Basic experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell is desirable.
  • CISSP, CISM, or SANS GIAC certifications are highly desirable.
  • Extensive experience providing thought leadership, driving complex change, and challenging the status quo.
