Security Engineer - Client Security in USA new

Responsibilities

  • Build tools that restrict infrastructure connectivity to Meta-owned and managed devices.
  • Develop machine attestation and secure certificate storage solutions for verifiable client identity.
  • Deploy systems that control allowed software execution and mitigate security risks on client devices.
  • Develop, validate, and enforce client security policies.
  • Build and deploy automation to detect and respond proactively to security risks and threats affecting internal corporate services.
  • Advise and collaborate with other teams.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of combined experience designing and deploying security infrastructure such as PKI, key management, and certificate management.
  • At least 2 years of software development experience in PHP, Golang, Python, C/C++, Rust, or Ruby.
  • Experience applying fundamental security concepts to systems.
  • Bachelor of Science in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred: experience managing PKI for client devices.
  • Preferred: mobile security experience on iOS and Android, including MDM and security policy.
  • Preferred: experience integrating AI tools and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices.
  • Preferred: operating system development experience with Windows, Mac, or Linux.
  • Preferred: ongoing AI skill development, including prompt/context engineering and agent orchestration.

Benefits

  • Annual base salary of $122,000/year to $181,000/year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

Salary: $122k - $181k/yr
