Responsibilities

Conduct security reviews of new and existing services, including architecture and design evaluations.
Perform structured threat modeling to identify attack vectors and application security weaknesses.
Coordinate penetration testing and validate security controls and exploitable vulnerabilities.
Document, track, communicate, and verify remediation of security findings.
Advise development teams on secure coding, authentication and authorization, cryptography, and data protection.
Escalate high-severity issues and support timely remediation aligned with launch timelines.
Maintain documentation of review outcomes, security decisions, and risk assessments.
Use automated tools to improve security review efficiency.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
At least 2 years of non-internship experience with web protocols, common security attacks, and remediation.
Knowledge of system security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques, including penetration testing and exploit development or equivalent experience.
Experience solving basic problems by writing code or scripts with some assistance.
Preferred experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings.
