Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain responsive web shop features for desktop, mobile web, and tablet using React and TypeScript.
  • Own frontend features from concept through deployment and collaborate with product, UX, QA, and security teams.
  • Optimize frontend performance, including p99 behavior and Core Web Vitals, and ensure accessible user experiences.
  • Integrate REST APIs and manage application state using appropriate frontend state-management tools.
  • Develop and maintain frontend tests, tooling, abstractions, frameworks, deployment dashboards, and automated features.
  • Improve monitoring and alerting for deployments and campaigns, including bot detection and alert severity management.
  • Investigate non-standard technical problems, create proofs of concept, conduct research, and carry out refactorings.
  • Participate in code reviews and use AI-assisted development tools while critically reviewing their output.

Requirements

  • At least five years of frontend development experience.
  • Strong TypeScript, JavaScript, and React experience, including hooks, context, and the React ecosystem.
  • Solid HTML and modern CSS knowledge, including CSS-in-JS and responsive design.
  • Understanding of web performance, Core Web Vitals, and accessibility.
  • Experience integrating REST APIs and managing state with tools such as Redux, Zustand, or React Query.
  • Experience with frontend testing tools such as Jest and React Testing Library.
  • Experience with modern tooling such as Vite, npm, and yarn, plus Git.
  • Curiosity about AI-assisted development using tools such as Claude or Cursor and the judgment to review generated output critically.
  • Demonstrated ownership, problem-solving ability, and willingness to handle non-standard problems through production.
  • Experience with server-side rendering and Node.js is a plus.
  • Large-scale e-commerce experience and experience with a design system or component library are a plus.
  • End-to-end testing experience with tools such as Cypress is a plus.
  • Interest in monitoring, observability, or web security is a plus.
