Quantitative Developer Intern in USA

Responsibilities

  • Improve signal research and trading-tool infrastructure.
  • Optimize data ETL pipelines, persistent and in-memory caches, and SQL databases.
  • Work with quantitative researchers to develop quantitative trading signals.
  • Develop automated equities trading applications and real-time analytics.
  • Collaborate effectively within a small team while taking ownership of projects.

Requirements

  • Be enrolled in or hold an undergraduate or higher degree in computer science, machine learning, or another quantitative discipline.
  • Have strong Python programming experience with production-level coding quality.
  • Have experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, particularly Docker.
  • Have experience with Unix environments and shell scripting.
  • Knowledge of profiling tools such as VisualVM or async-profiler is a plus.
  • Knowledge of statistics and machine learning is a plus.
  • Prior financial services industry experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrate independence, collaboration, and commitment to high ethical standards.
