Responsibilities

Design, execute, and maintain test plans for new features across frontend, backend, internal systems, and integrations.
Test end-to-end flows from the user interface through APIs and databases, identifying integration issues and edge cases.
Write and maintain structured functional test cases documenting feature logic, onboarding information, and requirements.
Perform regression, end-to-end, UI, API, database, cross-browser, and automated testing.
Build, extend, and maintain automated UI and API tests and investigate failing tests to keep the suite reliable.
Track test coverage, report quality metrics, identify defects, and support release-readiness decisions.
Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to align testing with client expectations and business logic.

Requirements

Experience testing full-stack applications across frontend UI and backend APIs.
Experience writing and maintaining structured functional test cases, ideally with TestRail.
Hands-on experience with frontend test automation using Cypress and Playwright; Selenium experience is a plus.
Understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, and OpenAPI/Swagger, with hands-on API testing experience in Postman.
Good scripting skills in at least one test-automation language, ideally JavaScript with Node.js.
Basic SQL skills for validating database data.
Familiarity with running and maintaining tests in CI/CD pipelines, including analyzing and fixing failing tests.
Exposure to application and log monitoring tools such as Datadog, Sentry, New Relic, or Kibana.
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
Web development experience with PHP and MySQL, visual regression or WCAG testing experience, and hands-on use of AI in QA workflows are nice to have.
