Responsibilities

Develop and execute system test plans for distributed system components and validate functionality, data consistency, and multi-tenant behavior.
Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases and improve existing automation frameworks.
Execute performance, scalability, reliability, and stability tests and analyze throughput, latency, logs, metrics, and monitoring data.
Support debugging, defect reproduction, fix verification, and collaboration with development and QA teams.
Document test cases, test results, automation workflows, defects, test coverage, and validation reports.
Contribute to improved QA processes, test strategies, and best practices.

Requirements

At least 5 years of software development experience with strong Python proficiency for test automation.
Experience developing robust automation suites for complex systems.
Hands-on experience with pytest, unittest, Robot Framework, or similar test automation frameworks.
Ability to own and deliver test automation features in fast-paced environments.
Understanding of testing challenges and solutions for distributed storage systems.
Experience integrating automated testing with CI/CD pipelines.
Advanced Linux skills, including networking, filesystems, and block storage.
Familiarity with containerized testing environments and Docker.
Preferred experience with large-scale data platforms, storage engines, distributed scheduling systems, backend infrastructure, or storage/HPC systems.
Preferred experience with Ansible, PostgreSQL and schema design, FIO, IOR, mdtest, IO500, warp, Grafana, Prometheus, REST, or GraphQL.
ISTQB certification or equivalent knowledge is a plus.
