Responsibilities

Learn product technologies and troubleshoot production issues across current and past software versions.
Collaborate with developers on new 2D and 3D graphics engine functionality.
Test and document the ArcGIS graphics engine for other Esri development teams.
Build and maintain test scenarios validating graphics engine functionality.
Investigate customer requests, industry standards, and specifications to define requirements and translate them into software design.
Modify automated tests and create new test fixtures.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience using an application development language such as C++, Java, C#, or Visual Basic.
Experience using a real-time visualization platform such as Unity or Unreal Engine.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
Analytical problem-solving, organizational, multitasking, collaboration, and communication skills.
Preferred: working knowledge of DirectX and OpenGL.
Preferred: working knowledge of PDF, JPEG, and PNG graphics interchange formats.
Preferred: familiarity with Esri ArcGIS products and online services or other GIS products.
Preferred: master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
